The nose erupts with an ethereal perfume of wild strawberries, rosewater, and freshly turned earth layered with subtle notes of five-spice. The palate floats with weightless intensity - flavors of cranberry, blood orange, and white pepper glide across satin-textured tannins that earned consistent 95-97 point scores. Whole cluster fermentation (25%) lends aromatic complexity to this 13.9% alcohol beauty aged 11 months in François Frères barrels (35% new). The finish lingers with haunting violet and crushed stone notes. Serve slightly chilled with duck breast or truffle-infused dishes - this 2022 will continue evolving gracefully for 10-12 years.
