From the renowned Heintz Vineyard near the Sonoma Coast, this Chardonnay offers a golden hue and complex aromas of baked apple, toasted almond, and brioche with subtle mineral undertones. The palate is rich and layered, with a creamy texture balanced by vibrant acidity and flavors of pear, honey, and a touch of smoke that earned 94 points. Aged 16 months in French oak (40% new) with extended lees contact, it finishes with incredible length and stony precision. At peak drinking now, this age-worthy white pairs beautifully with lobster thermidor or truffle-infused dishes.
