From old vines in the revered village of Morey-Saint-Denis, this wine displays a deeper ruby garnet color. The nose is more complex and profound, offering layered aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, violet, and a distinct mineral, earthy undertone. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, with finer but more present tannins and a vibrant acidity that supports flavors of plum and a hint of forest floor. The finish is longer and more serious. Sourced from vieilles vignes, it is aged in a small percentage of new oak barrels, which adds structure and a subtle spice note to the wine's deeper fruit profile. Earning 92 points for its depth and village-level quality, it is an excellent match for grilled duck, coq au vin, or herb-crusted pork tenderloin.
