Lady of the Sunshine California Red has rich aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and black plum, with smooth tannins, subtle spice, and a fresh, mineral finish. It’s a full-bodied, balanced red with an elegant structure, ideal for pairing with wood-fired pizzas, grilled sausages, and lamb. A blend of 50% Pinot Noir from Edna Valley and 50% Nero d'Avola from the Sierra Foothills, this organic, biodynamic wine showcases the diverse terroirs of California, with the Pinot Noir contributing vibrant, coastal freshness, and the Nero d'Avola adding depth from the high elevations of the Sierra Nevada. Made with native yeasts, 50% whole cluster fermentation, and aged in neutral French oak, this red is crafted naturally without fining or filtration, with minimal sulfur added. With only 144 cases produced, this wine is a heartfelt expression of California’s winemaking diversity.
