This Loire red blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir displays translucent ruby hues and an aromatic explosion of wild cherry, violets, and freshly turned earth. The palate is light yet intense, offering flavors of red currant, white pepper, and a stony minerality that earned 92 points. Fermented whole-cluster in concrete and aged in old barrels, it achieves remarkable complexity at just 12.5% alcohol. The finish lingers with floral and spice notes. Serve slightly chilled with roasted chicken or mushroom pasta to appreciate its Burgundian sensibility.
