Frederic Magnien Bourgogne Rouge Graviers ‘22

From gravelly soils in the Côte de Nuits, this Pinot Noir displays a deeper ruby color. The nose is more concentrated than the regular Bourgogne, offering aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry, and a touch of baking spice. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, with firm yet refined tannins supporting flavors of dark berries, cocoa, and subtle earthy undertones. Aged 12 months in used barrels, the wine earned 91 points for its depth and typicity. The mineral-driven finish makes it particularly food-friendly - try with duck confit or mushroom pasta.
