Fratelli Alessandria Langhe Favorita DOC '20

This rare Favorita (Vermentino) from Piedmont displays a deep golden hue. The nose is complex and evolving, offering aromas of ripe pear, almond, and a distinctive note of crushed stone. The palate is rich yet vibrant, with flavors of yellow apple, honey, and a pronounced mineral backbone supported by bright acidity. Aged on fine lees for 8 months, the wine earned 91 points for its perfect balance of richness and freshness. The long, almond-tinged finish makes it superb with rich seafood dishes or creamy risottos.
