This single-vineyard Riesling from Seneca Lake's Railroad Vineyard presents a pale straw hue and complex aromas of white peach, apricot, and wet slate. The palate is rich yet bone-dry, with vibrant acidity carrying flavors of citrus, honeydew, and a touch of ginger that scored 94 points. Aged 18 months on lees in neutral oak, it shows remarkable depth and aging potential. Drinking beautifully now but capable of evolving for another decade, this is Finger Lakes Riesling at its most profound - pair with seared scallops or roast pork with apples to experience its full complexity.
