From limestone-rich soils in Paso Robles' Willow Creek District, this Bordeaux-style blend displays a deep ruby-garnet core. The nose offers complex aromas of black cherry, cigar box, and roasted herbs with subtle earthy undertones. The palate delivers surprising freshness - flavors of fig, black olive, and dark chocolate unfold with resolved tannins that earned 93-95 point scores. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot aged 20 months in French oak, this 14.5% alcohol red is drinking beautifully now with braised meats or will hold for another 5-7 years. The 2018 vintage produced Paso blends of uncommon balance.
