Now at peak maturity, this Languedoc red glows with a deep garnet core and brick-orange rim. The complex bouquet offers tertiary notes of leather, truffle, and dried fig layered over a foundation of blackberry preserves. The palate is seamlessly integrated, with resolved tannins supporting flavors of prune, cocoa powder, and a distinctive garrigue spice. A blend of Syrah and Carignan aged 24 months in large foudres, it earned 93 points for its developed complexity. The finish lingers with hints of black tea and cigar box.
