This 100% Chenin Blanc comes from 60-year-old vines rooted in flinty clay soils (perruches), giving the wine its signature mineral backbone. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness, it opens with stony aromas and delivers lush, ripe exotic fruit on the palate, balanced by a lively, refreshing finish. Ideal as an aperitif, it also pairs well with foie gras, goat cheese, soft pasta, or fruit-based desserts. Domaine des Aubuisières, founded by Bernard Fouquet in the early 1980s, is a benchmark Vouvray estate with 25 hectares spanning the appellation’s top terroirs. Now led by Charles Lesaffre—grandson of the original vineyard owner—this estate continues its legacy of crafting expressive, terroir-driven Chenin Blanc, now with increasing focus on organic and biodynamic practices.
