From 4,000-foot elevation vines, this Cabernet Franc shows inky purple hues and explosive aromas of black raspberry, violets, and white pepper. Fermented with native yeasts and aged 12 months in French oak (30% new), it offers flavors of black cherry, graphite, and herbal notes that earned 93 points. The endless finish reveals tobacco leaf and crushed stone, best enjoyed with grilled ribeye or mushroom risotto.
