Château Fortia Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition Rouge '20 Red Wine & France & Rhone Rouge

From one of the appellation's founding estates, this classic Châteauneuf displays an opaque purple core with ruby reflections. The profoundly complex nose offers layer upon layer of macerated black cherries, roasted herbs, dark chocolate, and crushed stone aromas. The palate is both powerful and precise - waves of blackberry liqueur, espresso bean, and smoked meat flavors unfold with incredible depth, supported by polished tannins that earned 96-98 point scores. The 15.5% alcohol is perfectly integrated thanks to the vintage's ideal ripening conditions. A blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre from the famed La Crau plateau, aged 18 months in foudres. Decant for hearty stews or cellar until 2028+.
