On the palate, it retains a beautifully light body and silky texture, but offers more depth and a firmer structural backbone, with flavors of red licorice and wild herbs complementing the red fruit core. The finish is dry and savory. Sourced from a different parcel, it sees a longer maceration time, which extracts more color, flavor, and a subtle tannic grip. Earning 92 points for its added complexity, this wine can stand up to heartier dishes like roasted chicken, rabbit stew, or mushroom tarts.
