Broc Cellars Amore Rosso '22

A Northern Italian-inspired red blend with translucent garnet hues and intoxicating nose of sour cherry, dried roses, and forest floor. Whole-cluster fermentation in wooden vats lends subtle stem spice to flavors of red currant, blood orange, and crushed herbs. Aged eight months in neutral oak, it earned 93 points for complexity and bright acidity. The finish lingers with iron filings and dried violets, best decanted briefly for mushroom pasta or grilled quail.
