Sourced from high-elevation estate vineyards in Lake County’s High Valley AVA, the 2021 Brassfield Estate Cabernet is a bold, structured, and deeply aromatic wine. It opens with notes of anise, mocha, violet, and brambly black fruit, followed by layers of blackberry, cassis, citrus zest, and dried herbs on the palate. Aged 18 months in French and Hungarian oak, it shows refined tannins, integrated spice, and a long, dry finish with hints of cedar, chocolate, and truffle. At 15.4% ABV and rated 94 points by Wine Enthusiast, this 100% estate-grown Cabernet is powerful yet elegant, with aging potential through 2035. Originally $36 SRP, it offers outstanding value—sometimes found as low as $19.99. A standout for lovers of mountain Cabernet.
