This village-level Vosne-Romanée glows with a translucent ruby garnet color. The nose is already incredibly seductive, offering a perfumed bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, violet, and a classic, earthy note of forest floor. On the palate, it is elegant and silky, with fine-grained, suave tannins and bright acidity that carries flavors of red currant, spice, and a underlying stony minerality. The finish is long and perfumed. Sourced from several small parcels within the famed village, it is aged in French oak barrels to add subtle structure and spice without overpowering the delicate fruit.
