Marcarini Barolo 'La Morra' DOCG '19

A classic Barolo from the renowned La Morra commune, showcasing the elegance of the 2019 vintage. The wine opens with intoxicating aromas of rose petal, tar, wild cherry and white truffle. The palate is structured yet refined, with layers of red cherry, blood orange, baking spices and that distinctive La Morra minerality. Firm but polished tannins suggest excellent aging potential (15+ years), though it's surprisingly approachable now with air. Aged 30 months in large Slavonian oak botti. Decant 2+ hours and serve with truffle dishes, braised meats or aged Castelmagno cheese. A textbook example of traditional Barolo.
