Lubanzi Rhone Red Blend is a classic old-school Rhone-style wine crafted from Shiraz, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, showcasing the best of South Africa's coastal region. This blend expresses the region’s qualities, with Shiraz taking the lead, complemented by Grenache and Mourvèdre. The wine features aromas of dark and red fruits, allspice, and vanilla, with velvety tannins that soften as the wine breathes. On the palate, you'll experience flavors of ripe plum, caraway seeds, red apple, and eucalyptus, with a soft leathery finish and decent tannin grip. The wine is hand-harvested with minimal intervention in the cellar and aged in large oak barrels, giving it a smooth texture without overt oak influence.
