From one of Barolo's most respected producers, this mature Barbera delivers exceptional complexity. The 2013 vintage offers a captivating nose of dried cherry, leather, truffle and balsamic. On the palate, flavors of black fig, licorice and espresso unfold with remarkable depth, supported by bright acidity that keeps the wine lively despite its age. Aged 18 months in French oak barriques, it has softened into a harmonious whole while retaining Barbera's signature vibrancy. The finish lingers with notes of tobacco and dried herbs.
